Today, I want to share with you the joy I found on a sunny day spent at Miura Kaigan Beach, only a stone’s throw from my doorstep. It was a day when the coastal breeze whispered of spring’s imminent arrival, and my outfit was a melody in tune with nature’s changeover.
Miura Kaigan, with its gentle waves and calming expanse, is a place that feels like a second home. Sitting there, with the sun’s warmth counterbalanced by the cool ocean draft, was both comforting and invigorating. I chose a cozy faux leather mint green coat with playful pink sherpa cuffs from Jouetie(Japanese brand)—its sherpa lining peeking out like the first signs of cherry blossoms against a late winter sky. Underneath, I wore a knit bodycon dress with long sleeves that harmonized with the coat in color but contrasted in texture. But let’s talk about these Charles & Keith boots—oh, these statement yellow sherpa boots with these cute kitten heels! They’re a bold embrace of my love for all things furry and a nod to the sunnier days ahead. Paired with yellow tights, they’re a joyous leap into the colors we’ve been yearning for all winter. And for a day that was bright in more ways than one, I shielded my eyes with sleek white sunglasses by Le Specs, boasting a chic marble effect that mirrored the playful yet sophisticated vibe of the day. Completing the ensemble was my trusty Polène Numéro Neuf bag in textured Chalk, a piece as functional as it is elegant, holding everything I needed for a day of seaside serenity.
