Embracing the Coastal Breeze in Style – My Sunny Day Outfit at Miura Kaigan Beach

As we patiently count down the final weeks of winter, I can’t help but daydream about the upcoming bloom of spring. And what better way to anticipate the season’s change than by curating outfits that transition as smoothly as the weather itself?

Today, I want to share with you the joy I found on a sunny day spent at Miura Kaigan Beach, only a stone’s throw from my doorstep. It was a day when the coastal breeze whispered of spring’s imminent arrival, and my outfit was a melody in tune with nature’s changeover.

Miura Kaigan, with its gentle waves and calming expanse, is a place that feels like a second home. Sitting there, with the sun’s warmth counterbalanced by the cool ocean draft, was both comforting and invigorating. It’s these moments, nestled between the chill of winter and the promise of spring, that I find most precious.

Layering is key when you’re dancing on the line between seasons. I chose a cozy faux leather mint green coat with playful pink sherpa cuffs from Jouetie(Japanese brand)—its sherpa lining peeking out like the first signs of cherry blossoms against a late winter sky. Underneath, I wore a knit bodycon dress with long sleeves that harmonized with the coat in color but contrasted in texture. I have been loving those statement belts with pockets that add personality to my outfit and add depth to the look. Both dress and belt are from Sly one of my favorite Japanese clothing brands

But let’s talk about these Charles & Keith boots—oh, these statement yellow sherpa boots with these cute kitten heels! They’re a bold embrace of my love for all things furry and a nod to the sunnier days ahead. Paired with yellow tights, they’re a joyous leap into the colors we’ve been yearning for all winter. Unfortunately, these style has been sold here in Japan but you can also find so many other style boots here.

And for a day that was bright in more ways than one, I shielded my eyes with sleek white sunglasses by Le Specs, boasting a chic marble effect that mirrored the playful yet sophisticated vibe of the day. Completing the ensemble was my trusty Polène Numéro Neuf bag in textured Chalk, a piece as functional as it is elegant, holding everything I needed for a day of seaside serenity.

When curating your wardrobe for this transitional time, think of layers, textures, and a pop of color. It’s about balancing warmth with breathability, allowing for adjustments throughout the day. And color? Don’t shy away from it! Let your outfit be an optimistic prelude to the vibrant spring palette.

I want every woman to feel as empowered by her wardrobe as I do. Clothes are not just about style; they’re about expressing our innermost selves and embracing the joy of being unique. I’m here to say: wear what makes you feel radiant, comfortable, and unapologetically you.

Stay stylish, stay you!
